How well do I remember our mornings in chapel when Bishop W. Murray was head, Mr. Ken Taxter was veep and Father Jim was Chaplain. I also recall going out to Sunday services in the Manchester community from time to time. I was part of the Canterbury Club and was it ISCF, the other faith group, Help, I am having a senior moment! Laugh. Believe it or not that was my main group too! Oh well, this is the life! What can I say. However, I am seeking the words to a chorus that was very popular on campus those days,...."When I see the little lilly pushing back the mighty sun then I marvel at the wisdom of my God>.." Anybody can recall all the words! Am dying to sing it completely.

Hello Everyone:

That's a wonderful response from Mr. Winston Harding. I hope most people would think and act in that manner. Keep up the great work, sir.

Respectfully, Anthony Rogers

Oh humanity, come to the understanding that the tears of your forefathers and mothers, their blood shed in slavery that we can uphold the principle of love, faith and hope. They paid the ultimate price for our being.
Arise, from your settled spirit, be counted. Be knowledgeable of where you came from, where are today, and where you are going.
Commit yourself to live your life cultivating the beauty of your soul, awash with sincere appreciation for others. Be strong! Your ancestors blood should not be in vain.
The true will of humanity is to serve one another, to repel those whose mandate is to destroy and obstruct the goodness of our Creator.
Let us today take a page of history and encourage love and peace around the globe.
Your time to share in the furtherance of faith, kindness, care, respect, honour and prosperity is now.
Today is a new day to lift your voice and say: "In this land, blood was shed for me, I will not let history fail me from attaining my full potential."
May God's guidance and protection be upon us today, and forever.

Archbishop Sentamu is my kind of leader. Let's build in a spirit of humility and strength and stop whining about reparations, and wallowing in a past that we cannot possibly experience.

The Anglican Church had the ability to influence the slave trade when it really mattered and it did nothing. It presently has the ability to influence the unjust trade practice of the UK and USA and it is doing nothing. The Anglican Church has no clear vision on the Middle East, the Iraq war or the potential conflict with Iran. Is this another case of religion being the "opiate of the people" as stated by Carl Marx the father of communism. The church is high on symbolism but short on substance, we really do need to " liberate ourselves from mental slavery "
